How many people can Casa Colorados accommodate?
The estate has six flexible suites and accommodates a maximum of 15 guests. The mix includes king, twin-to-king, futon, sleeper-sofa and sleeper-loveseat arrangements.
Does every suite have a private bathroom?
The five principal bedroom suites have private bathrooms. The estate has seven bathrooms in total, including a full bathroom at the oceanfront pavilion.
Is there reliable internet and backup power?
Yes. Casa Colorados uses Starlink with mesh Wi-Fi. Solar power, battery backup and a generator help keep the house, air conditioning and internet operating during local power interruptions.
Which airport should we use?
Managua (MGA) is generally the simplest arrival and is usually 1½–2 hours away. Liberia, Costa Rica (LIR), is another option and generally takes 2½–3 hours, including a vehicle change at the border.
Can Casa Colorados arrange airport transportation?
Yes. Private drivers can meet individuals or groups in sedans, SUVs or microbuses. An optional grocery and beverage stop can also be arranged on the way to Hacienda Iguana.
Do we need a rental car?
Most guests do not need one. Airport transfers and golf-cart rentals can be arranged, and Hacienda Iguana has restaurants, small markets, recreation and services within the community.
Are private-chef meal plans available?
Yes. One-, two- and three-meal plans can be arranged, including ingredients, non-alcoholic drinks, preparation, service and cleanup. Menus can be adapted for preferences and allergies.
When is the main surf season?
Playa Colorado has surf year-round. The principal swell season is generally April through November. Conditions and water temperature vary with swell, wind and tide.
What is the usual minimum stay?
Minimum stays typically range from four to seven nights. Three-night stays may be considered by request when last-minute availability allows.
How do I check availability or reserve?
